Abstract

Waste is one of the complex problems faced by developing and developed countries in the world, including Indonesia. The waste problem is no longer just a cleanliness and environmental problem, but has become a social problem that has the potential to cause conflict. 3. With this community service program in the form of counseling regarding good waste disposal management, it is hoped that it can increase the public's knowledge about the meaning of waste, characteristics of waste, waste management, good and correct waste management planning. Apart from that, it is hoped that it will further increase public awareness of the dangers that can arise due to not disposing of waste in its proper place. Furthermore, it is hoped that similar activities can have an impact on increasing awareness of the Indonesian people, especially students and female students as the younger generation, to actively participate in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Community service activities regarding health education (counseling) regarding good waste disposal management in Marpinggan Plantation Village, South Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency have been carried out well.
